About

The department of Commerce is one of the major and active departments of Matoshree Sumati Chintamani Tipnis College of Arts and Commerce, Neral. The department offers Bachelor of commerce degree which is one of the most demanded courses. This course provides foundation of commerce and accountancy knowledge for students, who want to pursue their careers in management, business, accounting etc. The department is always engaged in conducting various co-curricular activities for holistic development of students. The department conducts various activities every year like industrial visit, group discussion, presentations, essay competitions, etc. to make them more aware about current competitive world. The department uses student’s centric teaching methods like participative learning to develop self confidence, communication skill, critical thinking, problem solving skill etc. The department encourages students to participate in various seminars to build up research abilities among students.

To put more emphasis on empowering students abilities and skills to create citizens who will contribute for betterment of country’s growth through their economic contribution.
To develop efficiency amongst young generation through imparting world class knowledge of commerce, accountancy and management to face global competition.
To enhance communication skills of students so that qualities like leadership, self confidence, entrepreneurship etc can be developed as per current market situation.
