Code Of Conduct
- The student must always wear the Identity card bearing his/her latest photograph affixed thereon and attested and must present it for inspection when demanded by the Teaching and Non Teaching staff. No student will be allowed to attend classes, unless he/she carries Identity Card in person. Identity Card should be carefully preserved. The holder of the Identity Card will be held responsible for its misuse. In case of loss of Identity Card, a duplicate must be obtained by paying the prescribed fees after complying with due procedure.
- Students should read the notices on the Notice Boards daily.
- The candidate should remain personally present at the time of Admission.
- Students should submit applications for scholarship / free ship etc. as also the Enrolment form (for first year degree students) on time as per the Notices put up on the Notice Board.
- Students must maintain silence in the classes, Library, Reading Room, Office, and the corridors. When they are free, they should make use of the College Library, of the Students Common Room, and must not hang around in the college premises or assemble in the corridor. Loud conversation and shouting should be avoided.
- Admission to a particular class does not automatically guarantee admission to higher classes in future. Admission to all classes will be on the basis of performance and availability of seats.
- Students must attend lectures and tutorials according to the time – table on all working days of the college. Students must not absent themselves from lectures, tutorials and examinations without the previous permission of the Principal. Students are warned that, if their attendance at lectures and tutorials is unsatisfactory, their names will not be kept on the college rolls.
- In case of illness, a student must apply for leave as soon as possible with a doctor’s certificate attached to his/her application and must report to the Principal immediately after resuming the college.
- Student must not attend Classes other than their own without the permission of the Principal.
- Conduct of students in the classes as well as on the premises of the college shall be such that it will cause no disturbance to fellow – students and to other classes.
- Students should not loiter on the college premises while the classes are going on.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the college premises.
- Students shall do nothing either inside or outside the college premises that will in any way interfere with its orderly administration and discipline.
- No society or association shall be formed in the college and no person be invited to address a meeting without Principal’s prior permission.
- No student shall communicate any information to or write about matter dealing with the college administration in the Press or other media.
- Students will be required to compensate the college for the damage done to class room or electric appliances and furniture placed in the class room the decision of the principal for the determination damage shall be final and binding on all students.
- Students are expected to take proper care of the college property and do help in keeping premises neat and tidy. Causing damage to the Property of college, e.g. disfiguring walls, doors, fittings, electrical wiring and CC TV Cameras and breaking furniture etc. is breach of discipline conduct and the guilty student will be duly punished.
- The students should not leave their books, valuables and other belonging in the classroom for any reason. They are advised to carry their books, valuables and other belongings whenever they leave their class-rooms.
- The college is not responsible for lost property. Students should deposit the property found by them at the office. The owner should claim it after due identification for the same.
- Students applying for certificates, testimonials, etc. and those requiring the Principal’s signature on any document or application should first contact the college office. No papers should be brought by students directly to the Principal for his signature.
- Vehicles i.e. Cars, Two wheelers, Cycles etc. brought by the students will be parked at the student’s risk in the place provided for the purpose outside college premises. The college is not responsible for any damage to or theft of the vehicles.
- If, for any reason, the continuance of a student in the college, in the opinion of the Principal, is detrimental to the interest of the college, the Principal may ask such student to leave the college without giving any reason, and the opinion of the Principal in this regard is final.
- Students joining the college are supposed to accept and observe all the Rules and Regulations of the college and to undertake to submit to the normal enforcement of the same’ to the satisfaction of the Principal, whose decision in this regard shall be final.
- USE OF MOBILES AND PAGERS IN THE COLLEGE PREMISES IS STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED. If caught, the mobile phones will be confiscated and shall be returned at the end of the academic year only. Students shall refrain themselves from using mobile phone while in college premises as per University Circular No. UG 552 of 2004, of 31-12-2004.
- Sleeveless dresses, tight tops, short tops, miniskirts, wearing caps in the college premises, low below the waist jeans / paints, unbuttoned shirts etc are not allowed. Students are required to note that they are coming to an educational institute and not to a fashion parade or an event to make a fashion statement.
- Matters not covered by existing Rules will rest at the absolute discretion of the Principal.
