NSS
National Service Scheme (NSS) is introduced in the college from the year academic year 2010-11. The aim of the NSS is to involve students in social activities for the betterment of the society. It is aimed at advising students to have a live contact with the community surrounding the college area, to understand economic and social surrounding of the college. This activity enables students to improve the quality of life of people living in the vicinity of the college.
National Service Scheme Unit of our college is very active. Every year we enrol 100 volunteers. NSS volunteers are very consistent in social service: the NSS unit organizes various activities/ Programmes such as Shramadaan, Tree Plantation, Compost pit digging, Anti Plastic Campaign, Save Environment Campaign, Stop Pollution campaign, Save Water, Save Electricity, Save Energy, Road Safety campaign, Nirmalya Collection. Swaccha Bharat & Sundar Bharat is the main motto of the unit. Every year NSS unit adopts a village and organize 7 days residential camp to achieve the aforesaid aims and objects.
